Who can lend through ITF?


Lending through ITF is currently only available to Wholesale Clients, as defined in the Corporations Act 2001. The most common classification of a Wholesale Client is a “sophisticated investor”.

Can Self-managed superannuation funds ('SMSFs') lend through ITF?


Yes. Some SMSFs can satisfy the Wholesale Client definition.


What are the minimum and maximum lending limits?


The minimum investment is $25,000. There is currently no lending maximum.


What return (%) can I expect when I lend on ITF?


“Returns will depend on the assessed risk of the borrower and the current market conditions.”


“It is expected that the majority of loans will return lenders some where in the 10%-15% range.”


What are the fees when I lend through ITF?


There are NO fees to the investor when you lend through ITF


How long are my funds invested for?


“The typical facility on the ITF platform is somewhere between 3 months and 18 months.”


“You may specify the period you would like to invest and we will work with you to accommodate this.”


Who is the Borrower?


“All Borrowers are credit assessed and you will not initially know the identity of the Borrower. The entity may be revealed prior to entering into formal loan agreements.”


“Typical Borrowers are established SMEs that have established operations and managed by experienced personnel.”


Are loans secured?


“Borrower loans will usually have interests registered under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 and may have personal guarantees attaching.”


Are loans guaranteed by ITF?


Loans are not fully guaranteed by ITF.


“ITF is prepared and will take a stake in all loans offered on this platform. The amount of each loan taken by ITF will be agreed in advance.”


How are funds transferred?


All payments are made via Direct Debit.
